Sergio's Tonsil Surgery

Sergio has been diagnosed with sleep apnea. He is getting his tonsils removed the first week of August to help his breathing at night and hopefully minimize some of the issues we've had with congestion and what not. We hope you will keep him in your thoughts and prayers; we realize it's a minor surgery, but we're naturally worried as relatively new parents.

He is having surgery at Shands in Gainesville and will be watched overnight due to his being so young. We'll keep you all posted.

Much love.

Welcome to our family's blog!

We've decided to replace Sergio's baby site with a family blog. This way we can talk about things that are going on in all our lives and share all kinds of news with the family. Check in from time to time as we will update our blog with info, pictures, videos, etc.

We're still figuring this thing out, so be patient. I'm sure there will be changes in the future.

For now, enjoy this new video of Sergio (at 22 months) identifying shapes. He can point out ovals, triangles, squares, rectangles, circles, stars and diamonds. He also is counting from 1 to 10 in English and Spanish--though he omits 7 in both languages most of the time! He is an amazing soon-to-be 2 year old!!
